This summer we came across a group of awesome folks out in California. They are rescuing horses from abuse, neglect and death. The White Rock Horse Rescue Ranch will hold its Grand Opening on September 6, 2008. They have been saving horses for quite a while now, but this is their first attempt to get some financial help. Gerry, already retired, went back to work to buy food for the horses. Isabel, his wife, runs educational tours for children (and big kids) on the ranch.
