We provide a FREE DRUM STICK (also called drum mallet or drum beater) with every drum. The free stick is our basic stick shown below, a $17.00 value. You can also upgrade to a native american drum mallet with a padded and fringed leather handle or even a custom beaded stick.

Every custom stick is beaded using the peyote stitch, applied one bead at a time. We charge $30.00 per inch of beadwork. Please note that Cheryl has won competition ribbons for her beaded drumsticks, so you are assured of the finest quality beadwork.
Call to discuss bead colors, patterns and designs. We can bead tribal patterns, such as Arapaho, Winnebago, etc. Or we can bead feathers, dragonflies, etc. Allow several weeks for custom sticks since each one is unique and beaded to your specification.
We also carry powwow drum sticks, build from fiberglass rods. Powwow drum beaters are custom built so we will ask for special measurements to make sure your stick is a perfect fit. Powwow drum sticks come with fringed leather handle and a semi-soft head, which we think sounds best on the drum. Powwow sticks: $50.00 each.

POWWOW DRUM STICK
Crafted from a fiberglass rod for flexibility, this BEATER has a leather covered and fringed handle and padded beater head. This is the preferred stick for our larger powwow drums. If beaded, I add all beadwork near the handle of powwow sticks. The stick is often used to tap the drum (during Grass Dance songs), and these are czech glass beads, which will break.

We now offer a beatiful leather bag to store your powwow drum sticks. The drum stick bag is fashioned to look like a Native American quiver (to store arrows). With a draw string to secure your stick, sling the leather bag over your shoulder and carry ten powwow sticks in style!

This powwow drum stick set is styling! The rich color of the tobacco leather makes this a preferred stick by drummers. The stick bag is hand punched and sewed with leather. The bag has an easy pull closure and looks like an historical quiver bag when thrown over the shoulder. Leather fringe completes the bag's "native" look.
